Dame Joanna Lumley DBE
An award-winning actress, voice-over artist, former model, author and activist, Dame Joanna Lumley DBE’s popularity has spread across the globe. She is perhaps best known for her comedic role as Patsy Stone in Absolutely Fabulous.
She has also played leading and supporting roles in numerous highly successful films, TV series and plays. More recently, her travel documentary series from around the world has been hugely popular. Among her many awards, she has been the recipient of three BAFTAs and in 2017 was honoured with the BAFTA Fellowship, in recognition of a lifetime of achievement. She has also received a string of honorary Doctorates from British universities and is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. Dame Joanna is a keen advocate for human rights and is also patron to several charities.
